Elastic Security uncovers BLISTER malware campaign
Elastic Security identified an active malware campaign leveraging BLISTER, a novel malware loader signed with a valid code-signing certificate issued to a front company. The loader uses process injection, DLL masquerading, and sandbox evasion techniques to deliver payloads like CobaltStrike and BitRat, establishing persistence via startup folders. Elastic provided YARA rules, IoCs, and detection queries to help defenders identify and stop the intrusions.
